THEY SAID IT (Post Matc Quotes):

TRU head coach Pat Hennelly:

On the match:
“We were basically outplayed in every aspect of the game. Their coverage game was great. When we didn’t make blocks they got the ball back up. We knew that this team is very resilient on defence and they kept the ball in play. Every long rally went to Mount Royal. That is a sign you are being outplayed. Fundamentally we were beaten in a lot of aspects. We could have used a great serve but we didn’t have it tonight and it compounded the problems for sure.”

Coaches Video Post Game Interview:

Mount Royal head coach Shawn Sky (15th season):

On the victory:
“Any win in our conference is a good win. Coming off the break it is just like an opening weekend. Our guys were rusty so it was a good one. We were just cleaner than TRU. We managed our errors better.”
