ICBC’s contribution was the result of a corporate-wide effort to support children’s health in BC, and it extended to all of ICBC business areas throughout the province. VIHA’s five-year strategic plan calls for a net increase of 313 new units for mental health and addiction clients over the next several years. As part of meeting this commitment in 2006/07, 184 Community Intensive Supported Living units will be developed throughout Vancouver Island.
