Quinn Benjafield would score a late goal for the Blazers as they fell 4-2.
Nick Schneider stopped 30 of 32 shots and Dylan Ferguson turned aside 52 shots in the loss. Both teams were 0-for-5 on the power play.
The Blazers will hit the road for four straight games as they are in Prince George for back-to-back games this weekend.
