Community Arts Council (Arts & Entertainment)The Community Arts Council (CAC) of Kamloops is a vital agency representing community artists while responding to their direct needs. Our purpose is to build a stronger cultural environment in which the arts, with its many facets, can develop, thrive and flourish. The Community Arts Council of Kamloops is a registered non-profit society governed by a board of directors elected by members at an annual general meeting. The CAC receives funding from the provincial government through the B.C. Arts Council and from the municipal government through the City of Kamloops. We receive donations and funds for co-sponsorships and we are able to act as the administrative body for programs initiated by unincorporated organizations. Programs currently administered and supported by the CAC include: Cunliffe House Gallery, Art in the Park, Children's Festival, Scholarships and Grants, workshops, resources, and the publication of Mosaic.
