The Kamloops & District Humane Society is made up of a group of dedicated volunteers who have worked tirelessly on behalf of companion animals and their owners since 1992. Our mission is to help create a community which is concerned for it's
animals. We assist animals in distress, whether they are abandoned, feral, injured or We give shelter and compassionate care to stray and abandoned domestic animals and find them permanent, loving homes. We are committed to improving the welfare of all companion animals in the Kamloops region by offering spay and neuter programs. Through these programs, thousands of low income pet owners have been able to have their pets altered at prices that are affordable to them. We manage several colonies of feral cats, all of whom have been spayed or neutered. They live out their lives, without reproducing, and we provide food and water to them on a daily basis. Funds are raised through private donations, adoption fees, flea markets, yard sales, craft fairs and just about anything else we can think of to help provide the funds needed to care for all the animals in our care. New members are always welcome. Donations are gratefully accepted and can be sent to:
