Encouraged by her husband to find a hobby, Jan decided in July 2008 to try her hand at painting with acrylics. Through books and watching video on the internet she became a self taught artist. Jan’s art is based on her inner feelings using a wide variety of colors to express just that. Many pieces which Jan has created illuminate under a black light making brilliant colors come to life.

Since July 2008 she has completed close to 100 pieces and has sold many across Canada and locally as well as the US. It is her pleasure to have this opportunity to share her artwork with the public.
