The Kamloops Community Volunteer Services Society (dba “Volunteer Kamloops”) is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for citizens of our community by providing ongoing support and encouragement to individuals as they seek ways to become actively involved through volunteering, and to member agencies that rely on volunteers to deliver their programs and services.
The Kamloops Art Gallery is the principal Gallery for the visual arts in the Southern Interior of British Columbia. The Gallery is committed to the belief that art is an essential part of the human experience. It is dedicated to making this belief tangible within the communities it serves.
Our volunteer riders are proud to have served our community and its visitors since 1992. We have extended a warm western welcome to many hundreds of thousands of guests stopping in Kamloops.
Since 1957, the BC Paraplegic Association (BCPA) has been a vital link to the community and successful independent living for thousands of people with spinal cord injuries. There are over 5000 people living in BC who have a permanent spinal cord injury that affects every aspect of their lives. Over 400,000 British Columbians have a disability that affects their mobility.
Crime Stoppers is a completely anonymous program and we are not attached to the RCMP in any way. We work in association with the public, the media, and the police to solve crime and make Kamloops a safer place to live. Remember, we want your information and not your name!
